The weather is always fascinating,I try to capture something of the endless movement ,the sky plays a crucial part in how the landscape comes alive through light,shadow,moisture and movement .I have always found painting landscapes exciting, the forces of nature just waiting to be immortalised on canvas.My main objectives are to try and capture the atmosphere and 'spirit' of a place. Ultimately it is the mood and light within the painting which becomes the central theme. I paint subjects that inspire me, and bring me pleasure."
